You say you love me
Yet we’re separated.
Seeming states span our mental view
Even though its just a couple rooms.

You say that it isn’t you
That it is a test for someone else.
Yet here I am in a new room.
You say that it is for my job,
Yet you barely spoke to me since this move.

You say blocking my msn is a test for him.
That you don’t use your face book;
Except for family.
Yet I see you posting comments
On profiles of friends we both have.

You dropped a bomb on my head
Similar in reaction to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Destroying my thought process,
Incinerating rationalization I once had.
You told me that they want me out,
In the midst of all this going on.

I can’t function through all this.
Breaking down inside and out
Almost like sugar breaks down in water.
It feels much the same, this breaking down.

I don’t know what to think,
How to feel is in question.
Tell me this is all my over thinking.
Tell me that I’m being ridiculous
And that you still love me.

With a sway of her hips,
you watch her walk.
Over to the new boy to talk.
A glare sent her way,
you watch her wave "Hey."
As she talks, a growl escapes.
You see her flirt,
and all it does is hurt.
You don't understand,
why she does what she does.
But you do know that she's yours.
Jealous you get,
As you stand up and say how you're all set.
And then you walk out,
The whole time yelling about,
How much you hate her.
It's the love for that girl,
That gets your temper in a twirl.
She drives you crazy,
And you hate to admit,
That even though sometimes you wish she wasn't there,
You love her to death, and would never trade her for a spare.

You've come and gone
Like the seasons during the year
Entered and exited my life
A presence as small and significant
As a butterflies on a lake
Ripples from your passing
Destroying, recreating everything
All I was, made new
Just like while the butterfly is there
Happier emotions stirred
Bittersweet feelings were there
Left amongst the ripples of your passing
I'm better for knowing you
I've learned from the hurts you gave me
Just like the seasons during the year
I learned from my mistakes
From the highs and lows
Through it all though
Elation at your passing
Like the flowers with snows melting
The sadness is gone
I'm moving on
