It was perfect. The curl that bounced downward into existence as she pulled it out of its curler. Letting it set overnight had to have been the best idea that she had ever had. But that was only the first curl out of a whole heads’ worth of curls. She could barely contain her excitement as she slowly, painstakingly, even lovingly pulled each individual curler out away from her hair.

Now don’t get her wrong. She loved spikes and chains as much as the next punk rocker; albeit she was a closet rocker. But it was more or less the fact that she had to hide any tiny, microscopic thing that might give away that she was into the rough and tumble scene of the punkers, and that she was instead a perfect little fashionista that her parents raised her to be.

It was her hidden passion. A love so complete that any flame she might feel for a guy was paled in comparison. Probably because she had to hide her way of life from her parents who were strictly into the whole preppy scene. You know, the whole on top of fashion, always being with the “in” crowd type of clothing and lifestyle. They had to be on top of every little thing that was new on the fashion scene. To make matters worse, they fully insisted that she shared that same lifestyle.

It wasn’t that her parents knew, it was that she was biding her time until she could completely and full heartedly tell her parents to go screw off because she was going to live how she wanted to. Although, that wasn’t as easy as anyone would think. Especially seeing as her parents were the head haunches in the fashion industry. It tended to drive her crazy sometimes, so she hid most of the things that her parents didn’t approve of which was, well, everything.

BUT…

That was enough of that. She had just finished de-curlering her hair, and was finishing touchups on her make up when her parents knocked on her door. Groaning, she yelled for them to come in and turned back to making her eyes look smoky and sexy for the fun tonight. She tried to ignore the fact that her parents seemed to be in “that” kind of mood tonight as she dragged fat eye shadow pencils across her heavy lids. “Yea? I’m like, doing my makeup for Tina’s tonight. I totally told you that we were like, going to the movies and stuff.”

Her parents exchanged a look which she caught in the mirror she was almost touching her nose against. A small smile reached her as of yet un-made up lips. That look meant that they had just changed their minds on what they were about to say to her. It was probably something about how they suspected that she wasn’t telling them the truth or something. That was always the fun part; making them rethink what they were going to say. Kept them on their toes if you asked her.

“Uh.. Nothing dear. Have fun with Tina tonight. Tell us how the movie was, okay?” Played like the fiddle she took them for, they turned and walked back out of her room. As the bedroom door clicked shut, she could hear them arguing quietly with each other about what had just happened. Something about how her father had wanted to tell her that she wasn’t allowed out, and how her mother overruled him because she knew that Chloe was just going to sneak out if he told her no.

Shaking her head just a tad so her hair didn’t mess up her makeup while it dried, she chuckled thinking how totally and absolutely right her mother was. It’s not like it would be the first time she had snuck out because her father had tried to keep her there. It probably won’t be the last either. She found it rather amusing being able to sneak out without anyone stopping her. They would most definitely bar her windows if they found out why she was sneaking out though. That particular thought made her smile all the more as she straightened up having finally finished doing her makeup and getting ready for the night ahead.

More often than not that was how it went. She was getting ready for a night out, her parents came in to tell her one thing and usually changed their mind as they ended up telling her to have fun instead of whatever it was that they were going to say in the first place. Afterwards though, they always fought with each other about it. Her father being mad at her mother for letting Chloe out. Her mother being mad at her father for being stupid enough; her mother’s words, not hers; to think that he could keep their daughter inside on a Friday night. They would sleep apart from each other only to make up the next morning for being too ridiculous.

Chloe ran this all through her mind as she practically pranced out the door, her pack slung over one shoulder. It was her claim of staying the night at Tina’s that always got them to continually let her out until all hours of the night. Not that she lied to them about that part. It was just that she didn’t get into Tina’s place with Tina until the sun started to peek over the horizon to signal the next days’ arrival. They had never once thought to look to see what Chloe had packed inside her bag however. If they did, they would be sure to confiscate it right away and never let her out of their sight ever again.

Her bag consisted of every color except pink, spikes, chains, fishnet clothing, and Chuck Taylors. She loved her ragtag assortment of clothing that she wore. A mix of 80s punk, new style punk, and an odd assortment of other things. Her makeup was a reflection of the clothing that was stuffed side by side with it. Various eye shadows and liners, lip liners and sticks. All packed safely in her bag as she snuck its contents out of the house. Very smoothly too she might add. Especially since her bag was the one thing that they never looked through out of everything she owned. In fact, they had made it their reason for living to invade every little single grain of privacy she had to snoop, and peek at her things, and pry, and annoy her at all times. So when she discovered that they weren’t going to look through her bag and trust her on what’s in it instead, Chloe had taken advantage of that.

She had used to keep most of her punker clothes over at Tina’s place for when they went out. But once Chloe found out about her bag, she had brought it all home and just snuck it out instead. Risky? Oh yea. But that was what made it more fun for her in going out. The total risk of her parents; or worse, Ari’iella finding out what she was doing was what made her want to sneak things like her favorite band jeans out of the house. Even if the thought of her sister finding out did make her shudder.

Humming to herself as she strolled down to her car, she smiled as she gazed upon her brand new Jetta. It may not be the car people would think that she would drive; but to her it was a reliable little car that was pretty cute too. Pressing the button to unlock the door and pulling it open, she tossed her bag into the passenger seat. Sliding onto her plush drivers’ seat, she pushed her key into the ignition and turned. The purr of the engine told her that it was still in perfect condition as she put it in gear and started backing out of the driveway.

It wasn’t far to Tina’s. Only a couple of blocks away. It’s not that she was lazy, she certainly wasn’t that. She just loved her car too much to put it through sitting in the driveway while she walked there. Besides, she needed to keep her appearance nice for the night ahead. That was very important. That she get to Tina’s in a timely fashion, and without messing herself up in the process.

A few minutes later had Chloe pulling into Tina’s driveway. Pressing her palm against the horn, she issued two short honks to let her friend know that she was waiting outside. Whistling to herself as she waited, she pulled her cell out of her bag and unlocked the screen. There was a message waiting from Trey. Smiling, she hit the ‘Read’ button, and smiled more as her eyes scanned over the text message. So he couldn’t wait to see her tonight? It was a good thing to have both in one night. Well three technically. Trey, Tina, and her rocker party. She officially couldn’t wait now.

Tap tap tap.

“Yo, Chloe! Open the door hooker! We gosta go!” Tina’s voice yelled through the window as she stood outside tapping on the glass. Her vibrant red hair giving away that she had recently dyed it from the bright blue that it was a few days ago being pulled up into a messy all-over-the-place type hair style. Her dark brown eyes anxiously and impatiently waiting for the party; or so it seemed.

A click, and the door was unlocked and open all in the same motion. Tina slid into the passenger seat with her eyes bright as she glanced at Chloe’s pack. A sigh and her shaking her head as she climbed back out of the car. “Come on girl. We gotta get you changed ‘fore we go out. There ain't no way that I'm gonna let you party in that gurl. It looks like your mama dressed you again.” Slamming her door, she came around to the drivers’ side and opened it for Chloe as she waited for her to turn the car off.

Chuckling softly, she turned the car off and climbed out. She had wondered how long it would be before Tina had noticed that she wasn’t changed yet. Tina was like that a lot of the time. Making sure that Chloe was properly dressed for the outing ahead of them that particular night. She had been like that as long as Chloe could remember. Grabbing her bag, she shut the door and followed her friend up to the house. It wouldn’t take too long for her to change. She did have half of her outfit done already. All she really had to do was mess her hair up a bit and put her clothes on.

It took Tina but only a few seconds to get the door back unlocked and opened again. Now that the front door was opened, Chloe made for the closest bathroom which happened to be right up the stairs in the entryway. Stepping inside, she dropped the bag on the floor as she shut then locked the door to make sure that Tina’s disgusting brother won’t be able to burst in on her while she is changing. IF of course he happened to be home. Chloe prayed that he wasn't. He gave her the creeps on a major scale.

She took her clothes out, and one after another put the article on where it belonged. Striped stocking here, fishnet stocking there along with her pants, skirt, and various shirts. It was a normal attire for nights like these. Nights when Chloe wasn't at home where her parents would see her, and she would have to wear what they wanted her too because they thought that they knew what was best for her to wear. Once again, her mind couldn't help but imagine their faces if they saw what she was wearing now.

Finished changing, she packed her first outfit into the bag that had previously held what she was now wearing. Checking herself once in the mirror, she opened the bathroom door and practically skipped down the stairs. Flashing Tina a smile, she nodded and posed. “What do you think? Totally like, awesome or what?” The only hint of her being her parents child was now the likes and totallys that were slipped into her speech. Even that wouldn’t last too long once she walked through that door into that party.

Nodding her approval, Tina opened the front door and headed back to the car. There she waited while Chloe took her sweet time slinking her way back to her car. She was trying, and failing at looking sexy but didn’t care at all because the only person that was watching at the moment was Tina anyways. Smiling, she pulled her door open and slid onto her seat as she winked first, then started laughing when Tina shot her a confused look. A shrug, and the doors were shut with the engine revving as they backed out of the driveway and started their way to their party.

It only took about ten minutes to drive to the party place, and even that was stretching it a bit. As they pulled into their parking spot - they had one specially for them because of how often they were there - the girls both pulled down their visors and checked, primped, and finally finished the final touches on their outfits and makeup. Satisfied that nothing happened to smudge, smear, or otherwise ruin it, they climbed out of the car. Making sure that the doors were locked and shut all the way, they both sauntered over to the bouncer at the door that made sure no stiffs got into the party that night.

“Evening Roy.” Both girls echoed in their sexiest, most mysterious voice they could muster up. A wink from Chloe had him smiling, and he shrugged his indifference to this night as opposed to any other. “I’ll be waiting for that dance you promised me.” Tina chuckled as Roy let them pass, and shook her head once they were inside. Sometimes Chloe even amazed her. She could get anything she wanted by just smiling and flirting a little. Not that she ever did let it get any farther than that of course. She was famous for her virginity, and everyone knew how much of a tease she was, even Chloe herself. Roy knew it too, which was why he always let her have her way. That much was obvious.

Now Chloe was fully aware of how the men reacted to the things that she did, and more than once she had to tell guys ‘No.’ Although more than one of those men weren’t particularly happy with her telling them no, and tried to get her to give them what they wanted anyway. It was those times when the Punker Chloe came out and showed them her idea of a good time; which just happened to be her kicking their ass until they stopped trying. Without fail, every single time Chloe ended up with her head in Tina’s lap crying because they were being rude, and mean, and she didn’t like it one single bit. That never stopped her from being her though and everyone knew it.

The two girls reached the doorway that led into the main party room and smiled to each other. They heard some local nobody band playing something hardcore that everyone was dancing to, and nodded their approval once. It was an awesome song, and one they both knew very well. This band was a regular to the party nights, and everyone looked forward to them playing. It was actually unusual for them to not play at least once during the length of the party.

Automatically, the girls both danced their way right into the middle of the floor. If they had wanted to, they could have walked right to the middle without having to avoid people, being who they were. But the girls insisted that these punkers treated them like they treated everyone else even if they didn’t want to, they tried when they were within earshot. The change of pace in this place as opposed to their real lives was amazing and it kept the girls coming back as often as they could without getting caught by their strict parents. It was the feel of the music in their very bones. The surging of the dancing crowd around them. The crude way these people lived their lives that made Tina and Chloe happy to be where they felt that they belonged.

About ten minutes into dancing, a guy shoved his way into the middle of the crowd where the girls were both dancing. Ignoring the angry protests of the guys and girls around him, he continued to stand right in the middle of everything with his arms crossed as he glared in the girls’ direction. It took only a moment before they noticed him standing there, and stopped dancing to glare back at him.

“Yo, Nick what is your issue with us tonight? You know that neither of us is gonna go out wit you, so I don’ know why you keep tryin’.” Tina crossed her arms back and shifted her weight onto one foot. She didn’t like this guy, and thought that he was the sleaziest person that Chloe had ever had the balls to flirt with. It wasn’t that she didn’t like Chloe flirting, it was just that ever since she did with this guy he hadn’t left either one of them alone. This guy was the creeper among the creeps and didn’t know when to stop.

“I would like it if Chloe would accompany me to the, uh, parking lot for a moment.” Everything about him gave away what he was about to do. He made it painfully obvious to everyone what he wanted out of Chloe. “I just want to talk to her for a bit.” His eyes flashed that dangerous way that screamed that he was up to no good.

“I wouldn’t like, go with you even if you were so totally the last like guy on the face of this Earth. Get like, lost Nick. Yuck.” Chloe sneered at him, then turned her back as if he had never been there in the first place. Rolling her eyes at Tina, she giggled as she went back to dancing.

A second later, a hand grabbed her roughly around her waist and hoisted her over a shoulder. Screaming insults and kicking furiously, Chloe tried to get her captor to put her down. Being tossed about like rag doll, it took her a moment to realize who it was, especially after she started seeing people laying unconscious on the ground. Growling in anger, she fought more trying to get him to let go of her.

“Oh no you don’t.” He puffed as he made his way through the angry crowd to the bathroom where he locked the door and threw her down to the floor. He smiled an evil, satisfied smile that told Chloe that he thought he just won. “I came to get something from you for your flirting, and I intend to get it before I leave.”

Chloe rolled her eyes. Seriously, another one? How many would try this before they gave up? Pulling a small object out of her pocket, she flipped the lock on it, and stood up. “You have two seconds to move away from that door.” She spoke to him vehemently, with the object aimed at his face.

Laughing out loud, Nick shook his head and grabbed her hand. Pulling her toward him, he wrapped his free arm around her, and lightly kissed her neck making her skin crawl at his touch. “No sweet. I want something. I always get what I want.” Prying the pepper spray from her, he tossed it behind her onto the floor. He then towed her to the far corner of the bathroom, and ripped her layered tops off of her, then starting on her bottoms.

Whimper softly, Chloe wriggled trying to get out of his grasp until she spotted something that didn’t belong on the floor. Her eyes lit up as she realized it was her pepper spray, and felt elation when she managed to wriggle her way to grab it. Looking up at Nick and seeing his face as he started on her panties, she swallowed the bile that built up at the thought of what he had in mind. “I have a present for you.” She smirked as she sprayed him full on in the face with the spray.

“Ah you little bitch!” Nick swung his fist, connecting it with her jaw only hard enough to make her tear up and her jaw bruise. “You think that will fucking work? We‘ll see about that one.” He gripped her with both hands and pinned her down as he furiously wiped his eyes clear. With that hand, he fought to undo his own pants and lowered himself onto her.

Right then, the door burst from its hinges. There had been people pounding on the door, but the noise was lost in the commotion inside. Tina stood there furious as she saw what he was about to do. Taking a few long strides, she grabbed him by his hair and pulled him up. “An’ what do you think that you doin’?” Her voice shook with her anger as she spit at him before grabbing him by his genitals with the other hand. “There ain’t no way in hell that I let you do that.” She glared at the crowd and threw him bodily out of the bathroom, being careful neither on his genitals or his hair. “If I ever see you here again, I be sure to kick your ass.”

Nick got to his feet, swaying and naked as he spit on the floor in front of him, and then smeared it with his foot. “What I think of a nigger like you.” Turning, he stalked out of the building with his pants hanging around his ankles.

Shakily, Chloe got to her feet, her torn clothing falling over her and barely covering herself. “Stupid. Stupid stupid stupid man.” She grumbled then looked at herself, and grabbed her hair with both her hands. “Oh my god. Like, look at my clothes. That total son of a like, bitch. I’ll like, totally kill him for this!” Whimpering, she examined how badly he ruined her clothes before sighing. Looking at the crowd, she put her hands on her hips. “I’ll like, keep partying if you guys like, help me find new clothes.”

The crowd buzzed with movement as various pieces of clothing were passed to the front, and finally to Chloe to help her get redressed. Obviously they wanted her to be able to stay and forget the incident that just happened. One young woman came up to her with a tall, bluish drink and handed it to Chloe. “Here sweetheart, you need this now. It’s good for you, and yes. It’s like, totally alcohol.” She smiled and hugged Chloe lightly before vanishing back into the crowd.

Chloe hoped that this drink would help her relax, and that the rest of the night would be just as relaxing and stress free. It was certainly enough excitement for one evening, and she was sure that Tina certainly didn’t want to go kicking someone else’s ass.

On top of that, it was most effectively enough excitement for most of the people that were still crowded around her. The milled about her like bees around their queen. Worried about her, the buzzed in her ears about how they hoped she was alright, and whether they could get her anything.

Frustrated at the lack of space that she was being given, Chloe stood up and angrily waved people out of her way. Pushing past those that didn’t move, she stormed over to a corner of the dance room to give herself air and space. Sighing heavily to no one in particular, she took a look at her drink before downing it in large swigs. Draining the last drops from in between the ice cubes Chloe sighed and let the hand holding the glass drop into her lap. Man she sure knew how to screw up sometimes.

Just as she was about to get up to get another, a hand appeared in front of her face with a full glass. “Thought you might have needed this girl.” Tina’s voice was right there next to her right ear. She always knew when Chloe needed her even if she didn’t show it. It was one of the best things about her, her always knowing when Chloe needed her; and it always made Chloe grateful.

Sighing, Chloe extended a shaky hand and took the glass that was hovering in front of her eyes. A half of a smile had Tina sitting next to her wrapping Chloe up in her arms. In the next moment, Tina’s hand was running through her hair as she shushed Chloe and told her that it was going to be okay. Chloe always put up a tough front, but it always managed to crumble in front of Tina.

A few minutes passed of Chloe sobbing into Tina’s arms before she wiped her eyes and sat up. Taking a deep breath, she chugged the glass that was still sitting full in her hand, and did her best to erase any signs that she had been crying even though everyone in the room knew already. Not like she cared any longer. She was full of that delicious alcohol, and wanted nothing more than to dance her sorrows away. That was exactly what she planned on doing.

Standing up, she set the glass down a bit harder than she needed to and swung around on one heel. Swaying slightly, Chloe began to make her way to the middle of the dance floor before Tina caught her and turned her away towards the door. “Naw girl. I need to get you home so you can shower and sleep. Yo daddy’s gonna kill me if he catches you like this anyway, so you’s stayin’ at my place tonight.”

Arms pin wheeled around as Chloe fought Tina as she screamed and cried something about wanting to dance more, and how Tina needed to let her alone. Gripping her tightly on her shoulders, Tina steered Chloe towards the door only to have Chloe fight her so furiously that she couldn’t get her through without having to hurt her.

“Need a hand Tin’?” It was one of the bouncers. A regular one that knew both girls. He knew them well enough to know that there was no way that Tina was getting Chloe through that door without throwing her over her shoulder.

“Sure. I don’ think that I can get her through on my own anyhow.” Tina held firmly onto the now flailing Chloe as she fought to get free.

Nodding, he grabbed Chloe around the waist. Ignoring her squeals of protest, he threw her over his shoulder and hauled her out of the building. Stopping in front of Tina’s car, he waited patiently while she unlocked and opened the passenger side door. Sitting her gently in the car, he took care to buckle her in and shut the door without catching anything of hers in the door before turning back to Tina. “Be sure to get her home safe Tin’. I’ll see you girls next week?”

Nodding, Tina gave him a hug and got into the car. Putting the key in the ignition, she glanced over at Chloe. Chuckling as she saw her sleeping soundlessly, she turned the car on, waved to the bouncer, and left the parking lot.

A groan, and Chloe rolled over on the small futon. Wait. Futon? How did she? Confused, she blearily looked around the room as she tried to remember what had happened the night before. She remembered getting there, and something happening in the bathroom. But after that it was a blur of events. Furrowing her brow, she vaguely remembered a lot of alcohol consumed last night.

“Abou’ time you got yo ass up outta bed gurl.” Tina’s voice rang through Chloe like a gong that had sounded right next to her ears. Covering them, she squinted at her best friend. “Haha! Yea. I thought you might be tha’ way this mornin’. I got you suttin.” Walking over, Tina handed her a steaming mug of coffee.

“Ugh. Like, oh my god does my head totally hurt.” Lapsed into how she was when she was around her parents, Tina cringed at Chloe’s way of speaking. “Coffee will totally hit the spot.” Taking a sip, Chloe got up to go do her morning business. Swaying slightly, she made sure that the room wasn’t going to upend itself on her as she headed towards the bathroom. The door clicked shut, and Tina shook her head in her friends’ direction. Sometimes Chloe was lucky to have a friend like her. Especially after the crap that had happened last night.

Turning, Tina saw that Chloe’s phone had lit up with a text message:

“Hey cute thing. Are we still on for tonight? I can’t wait to see you.”

The message was from Trey. He wanted to see Chloe tonight apparently. Tina smiled. Well that would help make Chloe feel a bit better, being able to see him. Holding up Chloe’s phone, she waved it around in the air a bit. “Yo! Chlo’! Mark text you!” Tina yelled towards the bathroom, knowing that within a millisecond Chloe will come sprinting out to read it.

Just as Tina predicted, Chloe practically shattered the door against the bathroom wall to get to her phone to read the text message. Grabbing the phone once she reached Tina, she smiled a big smile as she saw that Tina wasn’t just screwing around with her. Squealing a little bit in excitement, she punched a message back to him telling him that they were on, and that she was going to head home, get ready and all that fun stuff before turning back to Tina.

“I had the most totally awesome time ever. Thanks a total ton for helping me home Tina.” She hugged her best friend tight, and grabbed her bags. Smiling brightly, she skipped towards the bedroom door. “Later Tina! I’ll like, totally tell you all about it later. Kay?” Opening the door, she skipped out it and down the hallway.

Humming to herself, she opened the front door to the house and danced to her car. She was now officially in a good mood. Especially since Mark text her. She so could not wait to see him soon, and wished that she could speed time up until they were supposed to meet. Turning the key to start her car, she drove the short distance to her own house, watching as the butler opened the door for her. He was her favorite; he always was waiting with the door open and a cup of hot cocoa when he knew that she was about to walk in.

Taking the cup once she walked inside, Chloe smiled and ran up to her room after calling her thanks to him. Stepping into her room, she slammed and locked her door; she didn’t really want to be bothered by Ari’iela or her parents right at the moment. Chances were that they would do or say something stupid to take away her good mood. Turning, she finished her cocoa and decided that she might as well get ready. Or as much more ready as she possibly could.

Heading into the bathroom, she leaned into to examine herself in the mirror. Chloe pulled her liquid eyeliner across her gorgeous blue-green eyes. Satisfied once it was absolutely perfect, she pulled a brush through her amazing black hair. Getting it the right amount of curly and straight, she straightened out her fawn brown strapless top, and unwrinkled her skinny-legged jeans. Finishing off her daily outfit, she pulled out a pair of flats; a black pair, and put on a silver necklace. There. Perfect.

Walking out of her room, she winked at her sister who was standing in her door staring across the hall in wonder. By the look on her face, Chloe figured she was wondering what the hell Chloe had slammed her door for. It was one of those, all knowing winks; the kind that said that she was getting to see her hunk boyfriend.

She had almost made it to the door when her parents stepped around a corner in the hall. Her father gave her that, “you don’t have a choice’ look. Sighing in exasperation, Chloe threw her hands up. “Alright. Like, whatever. You apparently want to talk with me. It’s not like, I possibly have any kind of like, free will in this house anyways.” She scoffed as she followed her father into the sitting room. Great, the sitting room. She must have done something completely wretched this time. Maybe they found out about last night? It was the only thing Chloe could think of. Especially seeing as they never, ever talk in this room.

She sat on a couch, making sure her pants and shirt didn’t wrinkle up first. Then looking at her father as he paced while her mother sat in a chair wringing her hands, she wrinkled her nose. “You know, I like have a totally rad boyfriend waiting for me so he can like, take me out on a date. You are so totally holding me up here.”

Her father stopped pacing long enough to look over to her and sigh. “Chloe, you’re not going to see him today. You are going to New Zealand.” Her father began. Omigawsh!! She thought she heard him say something about a new resort or something there, and her face brightened immediately. “Like, daddy you are the best ever! New Zealand? Like, totally awesome!” Her father shook his head, stopping right in front of her so that he could look directly at her. “No Chloe. You’re going to get married. You have been betrothed since birth.”

No way. She couldn’t believe that he just said that to her. Married? Why? She was having plenty of fun with her model boyfriend. Granted they haven’t done it yet, they have done other things. “Married? What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you like, out to totally ruin my life?!” Next thing she knew, her cheek was stinging severely. It took her a moment to realize that her father had hit her. It took her another moment to get why. When she did, she stood up and glared at him.

“I will like, speak however the fuck I want to. Dad. If you want me to like, get married, then like, I totally can and will.” She glared at him a second longer, then turned on her heel, storming out of the room. How dare he? How dare he even think that he can get away with that? Chloe stomped up the stairs , screaming periodically all the way up to her room. She was so loud and angry that her twin sister looked at her once, and then shut her own bedroom door.

Slamming the door to her room once more, Chloe started slamming things into her bags; everything else had been super speed packed or something while she was downstairs. Once she was done, she hauled her five bags downstairs and out the door. She handed them to the limo driver, who also happened to be a nice hunk of man flesh. She paused before getting into the limo only so that she could check herself out in the side-view mirror, and to straighten her hair. Once she was satisfied, she climbed into the limo; once again making sure not to wrinkle her clothes.

She was so steaming angry about the whole incident that the ride over, along with the plane right went by fast enough that she was in front of the mansion in New Zealand before she calmed down. Sighing, she grabbed her bags from the limo before the driver could get to them. She wanted to do this herself. No slimy piece of hunky man flesh driver that was in on this with her parents would touch any of her expensive suitcases. Storming up the stairs with the remainder of her anger, she almost fell over as she fumbled with the bags as she tried to open the door at the same time.

After a few minutes of fidgeting to rearrange her things, she managed to get the door open. Slamming it shut, she turned and scoffed at the size of the place. “This is it? Like, it’s totally tiny. What a total bore.” Chloe rolled her eyes and climbed the stairs, having to stop ever couple of steps because she would drop one of her bags, or her hair was messed up somehow, or she was sweating. She finally made it to the top and looked at the door lining the hallway she was now standing at the end up. Well isn’t that just great? She gets to wander down this godforsaken hallway finding her room.

Starting to make her way down the hall, she noticed that there were plaques on the walls next to the doors with names on them. Well, isn’t that nice of them? Grumbling and rolling her eyes again, she eventually found the one with her name on it. It had taken her three trips up and down the hall to do so because she had managed to miss is each time.

Kicking the door open, she tossed her things inside the room. One bed? Ugh, gross fest. She is not, under any circumstances sleeping in the same bed as some disgusting loser. With a heavy sigh, she started to unpack her things; organizing her shoes, clothes, and makeup. All the while she couldn’t help but think how incredibly stupid this all was.

As she was unpacking, she paused and looked around the room she was supposed to be sleeping in- no that wasn't the right term. Her father had told her that she was living here until she got married. Like she would ever let that happen. Snorting, she sat back on her heels as she tossed a shirt down onto the pile in disgust. Right at that moment, she decided that there would be no way in the fashion world that she would let a disaster like letting her father run her life happen.

Nodding to herself, she set her face in a grim line pulled her phone out. Before she made any other decisions she had to make sure that her card still worked. Her fingers furiously punching in the letters and numbers to get to her account that told her how much she had on her card, she smiled triumphantly as she saw that she still had all her money. At least her parents were smart enough to realize that she might want to do some shopping for new clothes to woo said fiancee. Like that would ever in a million bad hair days happen.

Smiling, Chloe began quickly as well as carefully re-packing everything while thanking whatever was above that she still had money. Using one hand, she punched in a few numbers and fiddled around with different calls until she got the one that she wanted. A luxury taxi to take her back to the airport. Zipping her suitcases, she gathered them all back up and dragged them back downstairs to the front doors to wait for her ride. As she walked, she completely ignored everyone else in the building not even caring that one of them she was supposed to marry. So far as she was concerned they were all some of the ugliest people known to mankind; and that was being nice. Turning her nose up, she sniffed disdainfully and pulled her phone out once more to book a last minute ticket for a flight back to Paris and back to her amazing boyfriend Trey.

Just the thought of Trey made her smile, and made it seem like none of this crap her parents decided to pull mattered anymore. The sound of a car pulling up reached her ears as she confirmed her plane ticket for that night. Seeing that it was the taxi that she'd called for, she started dragging her million and a half bags over to it and stood there with her arms crossed as she waited for the driver to start putting her things into the back.

"Aren't you going to put your things in the truck miss? I can't wait here all day you know." The short, pudgy driver squinted at her as he spoke, dribbles of spit running down his chin.

Rolling her eyes, she shifted her weight and looked at him with a frown. "Like, I called you to take me to the airport. That like, means that you like have to totally put all my like things in your car too. Unless you're like too totally stupid to like realize who I am. In which case, I like might have to like beat it totally into that thick, drooling, totally like gross-out face of yours. Now before I like have to speak again, you might totally like want to start just like putting my things in your like truck or whatever."

He stood there for a moment with his mouth hanging open in disbelief before slowly turning and starting to put her things into the back of his taxi. The rolls of fat around his gut hung out over his belt and popped out from under his shirt like a disgusting form of a donut. One that giggled everytime that he moved or even coughed. Chloe couldn't even stand watching him to make sure he didn't miss anything and rolled her eyes one last time before crawling into the car to wait for him to get done.

TRIGGER WARNING: Chloe- An old characters background Empty Re: TRIGGER WARNING: Chloe- An old characters background

Post by Admin Sun Mar 19, 2017 7:53 pm

One that giggled every time that he moved or even coughed. Chloe couldn't even stand watching him to make sure he didn't miss anything and rolled her eyes one last time before crawling into the car to wait for him to get done.

After a couple of annoyingly long minutes in which Chloe busied herself with fixing her hair, the driver finally climbed in and pulled away from the house. Between that and the airport, Chloe just went through the process of touching up on the makeup she'd not had a chance to fix since she left her parents house last night.
